1/23/10 UPDATE: Links to lynching photos removed. Full analysis of first week of Resegregationist 5 Campaign coming soon.
The fools are crawling out of the woodwork and they're spreading lies about your boy. Check out this nonsense:
"It's a sure bet that the individuals pictured in the blog post below will be in 'wanted' posters, or even worse, being lynched. You heard it here first. The implication is that the board members should be hanged even in the postings. If you click the links of the photos of the board members you will get photos of lynch mobs and lynching victims."
Unfortunately they couldn't make it to the end of the post which reads:
"BONUS CONTENT:
Click on the photos to reveal the inner thoughts of a resegregationist."
But then, disingenuous comments and outright lies are par for the course for such losers who, no doubt, have exceptionally low IQ scores. Good thing I didn't try being subtle. No telling what I would have been accused of!
Look, kids, leave the "implications" for people with adequate reading comprehension skills. This is Adult Swim and you need to get back in the kiddie pool.

Long time no see, man. Glad to know there are people in the community (other than soundbite news) who are watching this and reporting on it. We have our issues in little ole Wilson, but who knew a handful of BOE members could threaten to turn Raleigh into the capital of the new antebellum south.

Hey, how you been?
Thanks for touching base and commenting. Things are looking pretty grim up here.
Part of what happened was board members from more progressive districts weren't up for reelection and a lot of folks that are now getting into the fight didn't realize at the time how evil these people are.
They're learning but it feels a bit late. Wish us luck!
Hey, I hear Wilson's downtown has grown a lot since my visit. Hope that's working out for everybody involved.
Your blog's looking good. I'll try to get something up. That's a trip about those previously unpublished King photos. That could be national news if they promote it properly.
Thanks again!

Life's been real, busy, and real busy since we had lunch. We have a new downtown manager for Wilson now. Her name is Kimberly Van Dyke and she's way cool. Nicked her from Detroit and I think she's a really positive force to get downtown moving again.
If you're interested lemme know when you come to the Art Center. There's a really nice restaurant downtown now with locally roasted coffee!
I hope things work out for the school system there. I'm still learning the back story but it looks like a real BOHICA moment.

I'll definitely hit you up if I head down that way. I heard the show may go to Durham but I'd really like to see how Wilson's developing.
Had to look up BOHICA. It fits!
Certain elements of this remind me of how the Republicans built a grassroots base for the Reagan/Bush dynasty. School boards were one of their early targets.
More on that soon!
